Logo

My logo consists of both a dark colour and a light colour and is designed to bring a viewer's attention to the centre of the image by having things at each edge of the server to bring your eyesight to the centre. Having the circle be overlapped at points is a purposeful choice as it stops the logo from being a perfect circle image as well as having it in a lighter colour to the background to help draw contrast from the darker colour, having the lighter centre image also causes the very edges of the logo to look darker than the centre due to it being closer to a lighter colour causing a perspective change depending on where on the image you look despite it all being the same colour.

A previous design included a bright yellow centre image with a black background, however, was later changed as the yellow was harsh on the eye and unappealing with the design of the icon.
Another consisted of the same colouring, however, have a film reel as the centre icon. I switched this as the current design looks better to me as well as the light circle around it creating the effect of a film reel while still having something included that represents me.

Final design:

Business Card

My business card follows and includes the same colour scheme as my logo to keep my personal branding as one collective thing that is easy to distinguish from others. It includes both the dark and light colours of my logo as well as the logo itself in the upper left corner. I made the design as simplistic as possible with there only being three main parts to it; my logo, my name and industry roles, as well as a QR code thank link to my Linkedin page. I decided to do this design as it doesn't overwhelm the person viewing it, yet brings your attention to the most important features. I included a clapper board to the card as it helps link it to the filming industry while also being a place to note my name and roles.

A previous design had included a pale green background both as the main card colour as well as being the colour behind the logo. I changed this to the colour of the original logo as it helped to link my Linkedin icon to my business card as the colours will match. It also helped the icon on the logo stand out a lot more as it seemed to blend into the pale green making it hard to see.
